<u>House Un-American Activities Commitee</u> was in charge of investigating claims of communist activity in the government, armed forces, universities, and other areas.
<u>Explanation</u>:
House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC) was responsible for investigating Fascist or Communist ties on citizens, employees and organizations in both public and private sector. HUAC was established in the year of 1938 by House of Representatives of United States of America.
The main aim of HUAC was to promote the ideas of U.S citizens that communism could be in their country and they are free from disloyalty and revolutionary activities. Second Red Scare was a phenomenon that was started after the World War II.
Due to the effects of drugs causing behavioural abnormalities, many scientists suggest a theory that "substance may due to operant conditioning." Substance abuse has been one of the hot topics in our society nowadays. For example is the use of cannabis, which is known to be an effective treatment for several ailments, are abused by other people which could mentally impair them.
Aristotle in his Nicomachean Ethics describes 3 kinds of friendships: of utility, of pleasure and of the good. He talks about friendship of utility meaning the one that exists between two people that are usefull to each other. For instances you might be friendly with you neighbour just because he takes care of you little pet whenever you want to go out a week-end plan.
Friendship of pleasure is between people who enjoy their mutual company. That would be if you have a close mate with wich you enjoy jogging or having a casual dinner once a week, the one you are common interest with.
Friendship of the good is the one thats based on mutual respect and admiration, they take longer to build but are the ones that are longlasting.
The first two tipes of friendship are easily brokesn, especially when the goal is achieved, or the routine becames boring and you need some fresh air. I would say that Bonnie and Shawanna are friends of utility. As the stament says they go out for drinks after work because is usefull for each other. But that doesn´t mean that after some time together and long and deep conversation they couldn´t find some interest in common and share another kind of frinedship.
Explanation:
If humans could fly ,there would be traffic lanes ,Sky poliCE and lots of accidents. People would crash into eachother and drop out of the sky onto the ground . Superheros would have the same abilities as regular humans ,allowing us to defend ourselves better .And also while going somewhere we could cover our distance easily and could reach everywhere fast too.Oyr life would be AWESOME!!!!
