The answer is A- 35/84

Proportional means that two things are equivalent to each other

Therefore, the ratio 10/24 has to be equal to another fraction

So when you put these fractions side by side 10/24 = 35/84 you multiply the #'s to see if this is correct

so 10 * 84 = 840 and 24 * 84 = 2016 then 35 * 24 = 840 and 84 * 24 = 2016

So the fractions now are 840/2016 = 840/2016

We can easily see that these fraction are proportional (equal)

Therefore the answer is once again 35/84

Darina [25.2K]
You would multiply by 1.2 for example if you wanted to find 120% of 100 you would multiply by 1.2 and get 120

NikAS [45]
Correct answer would be c, since the question is only asking for the solution and not the x valued (plotted left and right) it would be where both segments meet

A sample of 90 people is taken from a population. The standard deviation of the sample is 34.4. What is the approximate value of
Vikki [24]

Answer:

The approximate value of the standard error of the sampling distribution is 3.63.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that a sample of 90 people is taken from a population. The standard deviation of the sample is 34.4.

Firstly, Standard error basically tells us that how much sample mean is deviated from the actual or true mean of the population.

It is most useful in constructing a confidence interval about population parameters.

Now, as we know that the formula for finding standard error is given by;

            Standard error =  \frac{s}{\sqrt{n} }

where, s = standard deviation = 34.4

            n = sample size of people = 90

So,  Standard error of the sampling distribution =  \frac{34.4}{\sqrt{90} }

                                                                               =  3.63.
