Explanation: Odysseus shouted in response to the Cyclops that If he could take his life  and time away, he would. He also mentions that he would ''hurl'' him down to hell and that the god of earthquake could not heal the cyclops there. Because of his threats, he puts himself and his men in even more danger.

I have never read that story, but after reading that small clip given in the question and context clues, you can kinda see that Huck will have to make a decision about his Father because it says in the text "</span><span>I used to be scared of him....</span>" and also it says "...<span>but right away after I see I wasn't scared of him...</span><span><span>"

This is just a guess that the answer is D.
