Haiti and the Dominican Republic share the island of Hispaniola.
Haiti is located on the western part of Hispaniola, while the Dominican Republic is more on the east side of Hispaniola. To this day, Haiti has more than 10 million citizens living there, while the Dominican Republic has more than 10 million as well.
