This is all pretty subjective because one person may have one type of a feeling about this extract, and the other person may have completely different feelings.
For me personally, this simile creates a gloomy mood. The simile 'the hollow halo it was in was like an icy crystal cup' creates a gloomy and cold atmosphere in my opinion.

"True," said Franklin, "and I could have better afforded to take a dollar than to leave my work.
natita [175]

Answer:

d or c, but probably c

Explanation:

d makes sense cause that man would be wasting the other's time as before it had stated he was busy, but he still went to help that man but he just didn't want to pay the set price

it could've also have been c which would be because the man was wasting the others time because he didn't want to hand over his money

b wouldn't be right because even if they are different they are still important and a wouldn't be right cause the man hasn't paid

When would you be most likely to use an interrogative pronoun?
Elodia [21]
The correct answer is A. An interrogative pronoun is most likely used to introduce a question. The word "interrogative" means "relating to a question," so an interrogative pronoun must be a pronoun that relates to a question. Remember that interrogative pronouns are what, which, who/whom, and whose. These pronouns are used to ask questions. For example: Which book is mine? Who is at the door? What time do we have to leave?
