Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Hello!

There are several steps you have to follow when conducting a hypothesis test. The order of some of them may vary depending on the person that's doing it but they may not be excluded.

Step 1

d. Write the null and alternative hypotheses.

This is always the first step, without the hypothesis, nothing is telling you the direction of the test and the population parameter in the study.

Step 2

b. Identify the test type and relevant statistic.

I would add stating the significance level you will work with, critical value/s and rejection region. (In case you are using this method)

Step 3

g. Calculate sample statistics

Step 4

f. Calculate p-value

This step goes always after the calculation of the statistic, remember, that the p-value is the probability of having a value as extreme as the statistic if the null hypothesis is true-

Step 5

e. Compare p-value to alpha

The p-value is a probability and you must always compare it against the significance level using the following rule:

If p-value ≤ α, then you reject the null hypothesis.

If p-value >α, then you don't reject the null hypothesis.

Step 6

c. Reject or fail to reject the null hypothesis.

Step 7

a. Write a conclusion

This one is always the last step and closure of the test. Without deciding the null hypothesis is not logic to conclude the study population.

I hope you have a SUPER day!

Think of reflect as looking in a mirror. The question should tell you how your reflecting. It might say "reflect the rectangle over the y axis"  (Look at the attachment below to see example).

Step-by-step explanation:

I can help more if I see the question. But usually questions ask you to reflect over the y or x axis.
