Francesco Petrarca originally, ( July 20, 1304 - July 18/19, 1374), known under anglicized name Petrarch, was an Italian Renaissance poet, and one of the earliest humanists. Following Renaissance ideas that revived the classic teachings of ancient Greece, such as humanism and naturist, this poet is one of the most delightful representatives of humanism. He is considered the founder of humanism.
