Answer:

The correct answer is e) Collecting duct, aldosterone, vasopressin

Explanation:

ADH( antidiuretic hormone) is called vasopressin formed by the hypothalamus gland and released when the body is under stress of shortage of water.

This hormone binds to the water channel receptors present in the collecting duct and opens them. Then the water is released in the interstitial space and returns to the blood by reabsorption.

Decrease in the blood flow results in the release of aldosterone which regulates the blood pressure by absorbing the water and sodium ions from the collecting duct increasing blood volume and osmolarity.

Which primary prevention strategy does the nurse recommend to a client concerned about the development of cancer?
Novosadov [1.4K]

Removal of mole on the abdomen primary prevention strategy does the nurse recommend to a client concerned about development of cancer.

Cancer occurs when a few of the body's cells grow out of control and spread to other internal organs. The trillions of cells that make up the human body are home to cancer, which can develop practically anywhere. Cancers are any of the many diseases that are characterized by the expansion of abnormal cells that divide uncontrollably, have the ability to penetrate, and cause harm to good physiological tissue.

Cancer cells acquire gene alterations that transform them from healthy cells to cancer cells. These gene mutations can be passed down via families, develop gradually as we age and our genes deteriorate, or show up if we are exposed to chemicals that damage our genes, such as alcohol, tobacco smoke, or ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun.

This term mean entry of substances into the body from filtration.
Serhud [2]

Answer:

The correct term is reabsorption.

Explanation:

Reabsorption is the process in which the several substances including water returns back to the blood plasma by active or passive pathway from the filtrate present in the nephron.

Nephron is made up of four regions PCT(Proximal Convoluted Tubule), loop of henle, DCT(Distal Convoluted Tubule) and collecting ducts. In every region of nephron reabsorption takes place but PCT is highly specialized for reabsorption and almost 67% reabsorption takes place in this area.

Loop of henle is important in reabsorbing water to blood making urine more concentrate. Substances reabsorbs from all parts of nephron are glucose, amino acids, ions, urea, vitamins, hormones and water.

Influenza C is rarely included in vaccine for prevention because:
Mice21 [21]

Answer:

The correct answer is option C.

Explanation:

Influenza C virus is the member of genus Influenzavirus C which causes influenza just like other influenza viruses. These viruses are known to infect pigs and humans. Type C species caused flu is rare in comparison to Types A or B.

Other common influenza viruses A and B also cause seasonal infestation every year because of their ability to shift antigenicity. Influenza virus C does not have this ability to antigenic shift and not considered as a concerned threat to human health. Because of this, it is rarely included in vaccinations against influenza virus C.

Thus, the correct answer is option C.
