A(x) = 220 + 65x
B(x) = 300 + 55x

A(x)=B(x)
200 + 65x = 300 + 55x
65x - 55x = 300 - 220
10x = 80
x = 80/10
x = 8

the two companies need a. 8 hours of labor for the same cost

hope this help

Company A : 220 + 65h
Company B : 300 + 55h

How many hrs they will cost the same.....so set them equal to each other and solve for h(the number of hrs)

220 + 65h = 300 + 55h
65h - 55h = 300 - 220
10h = 80
h = 80/10
h = 8

220 + 65(8) = 740
300 + 55(8) = 740

so in 8 hrs, both companies charge $ 740

tekilochka [14]

Answer:

Each additional cup is 1 centimeter.

Step-by-step explanation:

We know this because we can see the height on the graph. For each number of cups increased (y-axis), 1 centimeter in height increases as well.

Therefore, we can say that each additional cup is 1 centimeter.

HELP!Write the equation of the line fully simplified slope-intercept form.
xxTIMURxx [149]
Find slope first
Two points: (-5,-2) and (5,4)
(4+2)/(5+5) = 6/10 = 3/5 slope
So far: y = 3/5x + b
Plug in any of the point
-2 = 3/5(-5) + b, b = 1
Final equation: y = 3/5x + 1

Kenneth, a competitor in cup stacking, claims that his average stacking time is 8.2 seconds. During a practice session, Kenneth
never [62]

Answer:

The data does not provide sufficient evidence to conclude that Kenneth's mean stacking time is less than 8.2 seconds.

Do not reject the null hypothesis because the p-value 0.0401 is greater than the significance level.

Step-by-step explanation:

Null hypothesis (H0): mu = 8.2 seconds

Alternate hypothesis (Ha): mu < 8.2 seconds

Significance level = 0.04

p-value = 0.0401

Using the p-value approach for testing hypothesis, do not reject H0 because the p-value 0.0401 is greater than the significance level 0.04.

There is not sufficient evidence to conclude that Kenneth's mean stacking time is less than 8.2 seconds.
