Albeit Odysseus didn't change very much throughout his travels; while getting back to Ithaca to reunite with Telemachus and Penelope in the end, during the supreme ordeal, he displays a significant improvement in some behaviors he had some challenges with before, such as <em>prudence and patience.</em>
He was not always prudent in all situations before; but it was explicit in the end, in the way the suitors were destroyed by him and Telemachus, showing much more <em>self control and patience</em> before taking action, qualities he upgraded, especially since that time he defeated the Cyclops, using <em>less violence</em> and being thoughtful, <em>more clever</em> and having <em>more self control</em>, relying more on his mind faculties.
