How to solve this and how do I find area

You can first divide the figure (either way is fine but I'm dividing it horizontally so that there are two smaller rectangles), and from there on you can calculate the two main side lengths of each to find the area of each section. Afterwards, you would add the two areas together (sorry if this is too confusing).
