Relief printing is a process consisting cutting or etching a printing surface in a way so that there is just the design to be printed. Some examples of relief printing are woodcut, linocut, and metal cut. linocut, uses a sheet of linoleum into which a design is cut in. Metal cut on the other hand is when you engrave on to a piece of metal.

Answer:

High relief printing is known as Flexography, which is a printing technique that uses a printing press, a process in which many copies are produced by repeated direct printing of a raised surface against sheets or a continuous roll of paper.

Flexology, like typographic printing, is a direct printing system, since the image is transmitted directly from the metal to the paper.

These are some of the advantages and disadvantages that it has, it is important that you know the options you have for your projects.

The color is more vivid in gravure, being able to better represent the shades: it is due to the point that is engraved by hollow alveoli.

The durability of the cylinder: the gravure cylinder is given a chrome plating so it supports large runs.

Large productions can be made: the gravure cylinder can reach 4 meters in length, so many pages can be included in the same cylinder.

The paper does not suffer deformations in its width and height: water does not intervene in printing.

The color stability is constant throughout the run.

Gradients and flesh tones are printed with greater fidelity: gold and silver colors also offer a good impression.

Stamping gain does not exist just: there is no point pressure between cylinders as in offset (on press papers, offset point gains can exceed 12%).

Do not stop machines for large runs: Due to the chrome layer that is applied to the gravure cylinder.

Gravure inks dry by evaporation: This leads to rapid drying.

Saw teeth are formed at the edges of the letters: the gravure texts are "hatched".

The realization of the intaglio printing form is expensive and takes time to complete (this also makes it more expensive).

The pagination of the form: in rotogravure, the form must have pages in accordance with the width of the cylinder to avoid wasting materials (paper and cylinder) although there are currently a wide variety of cylinders depending on the necessary width.

The rectification or change of page, text or photograph in the cylinder: they are complicated and expensive.

Times of change of work: In a rotogravure press it takes a long time to remove the cylinder and put one with the new job.

If the scraper is dented at any point on its surface: it leaves traces of ink on the paper so that the print quality is altered.

Gravure tests are expensive: the machines are more complex.

Currently, there is no variety of offset machines that are offset: cost is not very profitable. Those that exist are used for packaging printing only, so it is not easy to print small print jobs and small gravure format.

The prices: the rotogravure presses exceed twelve million euros. In offset, a press costs about five million euros.

EleoNora [17]

Answer:

Contentment sidles up beside him

Explanation:

The personification is the figure of speech that promotes human characteristics for inanimate objects or animals, causing a feeling of anthropomorphization. You can see an example of this in the text shown above in the line "Contentment sidles up beside him." That's because "Contentment" is an inanimate object and it would be impossible, in the real world, for it to have the ability to sidle up beside anything, which is a human capacity.
