There is no definite answer of this question, and may depend on your religion. But, scientifically it is believe the universe has always existed, but the one we know today was formed after the Big Bang (Big Bang Theory) where all matter was initially together and expanded outward after the “Big Bang”. This caused this matter to move outward, even to this day.
