You might ask Martin Luther what were the reason why he set about to lead the Reformation? What were the greatest roadblocks he faced in leaving a radical religious movement that sought to overthrow the common religious orthodoxy of the time? What parts of society were most important to expanding the reformation ideals and ideas about religion? And many other questions!

babymother [125]

Answer:

The most traumatic era in the entire history of Roman Catholicism, some have argued, was the period from the middle of the 14th century to the middle of the 16th. This was the time when Protestantism, through its definitive break with Roman Catholicism, arose to take its place on the Christian map. It was also the period during which the Roman Catholic Church, as an entity distinct from other “branches” of Christendom, even of Western Christendom, came into being.

Compare the effects of the navigation acts, the enlightenment, and the great awakening on the colonists. What main impact seems
Eva8 [605]
The navigation acts, the Enlightenment, and the Great Awakening on the colonists, were events that, although different among themselves, achieved the union of all the colonies, something that would be the precursor of the War of Independence. While the Navigation Acts were increased hostilities of all American colonies against the British; the Great Awakening on the colonists caused the Revolution in the long run. The British ministers were a higher class, but the ministers of the Great Awakening could break the rules; the new beliefs were also much more democratic and their message was of equality; also the first important event in which all the colonies could participate. They were both points of union for the 13 colonies.
