Answer: Fourth graph

Step-by-step explanation:

The given function is y=\sqrt[3]{x-5}

To find the x intercept of the graph, put y=0, we get

0=\sqrt[3]{x-5}\\\\\Rightarrow x-5=0\\\\\Rightarrow\ x=5

We we look in the given graphs only in the fourth graph the curve is passing through x intercept (5,0) .

Therefore, the fourth graph  represents  y=\sqrt[3]{x-5}.

The graph of the parent cube root function which is y=  \sqrt[3]{x}  passes from the origin. We have to find the graph of y=\sqrt[3]{x-5}

Addition or subtraction of a number from the function argument i.e. x, shifts the graph horizontally. Addition of a number to the arguments moves it to left, while subtraction of a number moves it to right. 5 is being subtracted from the function argument x. This means the graph of parent cube root function will be shifted 5 units to the left without any change in the vertical direction.

The final picture shows such a graph. So the correct answer is option D

One angle is 25 less than four times it's supplement. What is the measure of both angles?
Elenna [48]
Let the first angle be x and the second be y.

Supplementary angles add up to 180, so:
x + y = 180

Also, as given in the statement:
x = 4y - 25

Substituting into the first equation:
4y - 25 + y = 180
5y = 205
y = 41

x = 4(41) - 25
x = 139

One angle is 139° and the other is 41°.

Greg made pudding every weekend. The more times he made pudding, the more practice he gained. The time he took to make the same
VashaNatasha [74]

After Greg makes the pudding 1 time, it takes him f(1)=2(0.8) ^{1}=1.6 hours to make it.

After Greg makes the pudding 2 times, it takes him f(2)=2(0.8) ^{2}=1.28 hours to make it

After Greg makes the pudding 2 times, it takes him f(3)=2(0.8) ^{3}=1.024 hours to make it

so The function is f(x)=2(0.8) ^{x}

Answer: f of x equals 2 multiplied by 0.8 to the power of x

Ashley bought 4 packages of juice boxs in each package. She. gave 2 juice boxs to each of her friends. How many juice boxes does
Harlamova29_29 [7]
I am assuming there are more than one juice box in a package so if the amount of juice boxes in each package is X and there are four packages 4X.
So 4X - 2= Answer

If we make it so that there are 6 juice boxes in each package and use the same method this is what we'll get:
24 - 2= 22

22 would be the juice boxes left over.

I hope this answers your question, if it doesn't use the same method with the number of juice boxes in a package.
