denpristay [2]
The hypothesis of continental drift came up in 1910 by German scientist Alfred Wegener. The idea is that when you look at a map south America and Africa seem to fit perfectly together. this would have made one super Continent called Pangaea. so in order for it to get to where it is today something must have happened that is where the idea of floating continents came in. this theory is no longer relevant as now scientists found they would have to adjust to fit the size if both continents. Which actions were results of the United Nations’ plan to partition Palestine between the Arabs and the Jews? Select three optio
yKpoI14uk [10]

The actions which were results of the United Nations’ plan to partition Palestine between the Arabs and the Jews are as follows:

A. the disapproval of many Arab nations

B. the end of British control in the region

C.the formation of the Jewish state of Israel

Explanation:

 • The British government was established by the League of Nations under the Palestinian Mandate in 1923 as part of the post-World War I fragmenting of the Ottoman Empire.
 • This reaffirmed the British adherence to the Balfour Declaration in 1917 to create a "National Home" for the Jewish population in Palestine, with the sovereign right to enforce it.
 • Many proposals have sparked violent demonstrations in the Arab states, calling for a jihad and the extermination of all European Jews in Palestine.
 • Finally, the UN General Assembly implemented the proposal as "Resolution 181 (II)" on 29 November 1947.
