The correct answer is A) faced crowded living conditions in poor neighborhoods.

Between 1830 and 1850, immigrants who moved to American cities often faced crowded living conditions in poor neighborhoods.

The Industrial Revolution opened many new job opportunities for people. Americans that lived in the rural areas of the country moved to the larger cities where the factories were located. But also immigrants. They left their former countries looking for better living conditions for their families and went to the larger cities such as New York City to work in the manufacturing industries. They were so poor that had to live in very small places under harsh and unhealthy conditions, with no ventilation at all.
