Answer:

Emergence

Explanation:

A social movement has 4 different stages, according to sociology. These stages are:

 1. Emergence: There is a widespread discontent but not much organizations, some people are discontent but they haven't taken any actions just yet or if they have, these actions are not strategic or collective.
 2. Coalescence: There is a more defined sense of discontent, the people already know why and who is the sense of discontent. Leadership emerges and some actions start to take place. Also the media starts covering these kind of news.
 3. Bureaucratization: The social movement has had some success and they can no longer rely in the members to do all the duties but they need trained staff.
 4. Decline: Also called "institutionalization". It is important to notice that decline doesn't mean failure and some movements go through institutionalization by finding a institutionalized way to protect themselves.

In this example, the period when a few people try to draw attention to a particular social issue that is not in the public consciousness is clearly describing the stage of emergence.

In the context of the termination act, the government orders on the native americans resulted in:____.
GrogVix [38]

In the context of the termination act, the government orders on the native Americans resulted in the major economic upheaval for the affected tribes.

Through the Termination Act, the Congress aimed at dislocation of the native American Indian tribes, which means that they were disbanded and their lands were sold off. This came as a reversal of policies from the Self- government era.

The federal government was trying to terminate the special trustee relationship, tribes held with the United States. Although at the face value, this act seemed to be well-intended because it appeared that the federal government was trying to release tribes from federal control yet it affected the native American's rights.

Which of the following was a criticism of the idea that the best and brightest citizens would provide the most proper representa
Murrr4er [49]

Answer:

D. It might be hard for voters to really tell which candidates are truly of the "natural aristocracy."

Explanation:

The system of democracy which asserts that the best and brightest citizens (individuals of natural aristocracy) would provided proper representation is criticized because It might be hard for voters to really tell which candidates are truly of the "natural aristocracy." In a population of over 300 million people, it will be hard for the average American voter to identify individuals who are of natural aristocracy, who broke the norm and standout among their peers as such individuals may be confused by those of artificial aristocracy who have the finance, family name and obtained polished education.

Question options:

Waterfall

Parallel

Iterative

Answer:

Waterfall

Explanation:

Waterfall is a project management approach and methodology often applied to engineering areas and software development where a project is completed step by step in linear fashion such that every step depends on the previous one and moves from there. There are distinct stages under this approach and straightforwardness, project flows in one direction(like a waterfall). There is also a greater level of specialization as the plan is made upfront and it proceeds with hardly any changes in the plan.

About how many European immigrants were processed at the facilities on Ellis Island? 2 million 12 million 50 million 60 million
Kay [80]

The answer is 12 million. Many of these immigrants came to America in the hopes of making a better life for themselves and their families. Eventually their descendants have integrated themselves in American society. Many have become successful and so have their descendants. Even today, despite the economic problems in the U.S., people still want to travel there to achieve the same success as early immigrants did so many years ago.
