urage the public to be more health conscious. They have passed legislation requiring restaurants to post nutritional information on their menus. However, these efforts do not seem to have made much difference. According to a recent study, even when such information was made available, a majority of patrons ignored it. Most people ordered whatever they wanted without giving much thought to the nutritional value of their meals.
