Answer:

These lines of the soliloquy show Romeo's thoughts. And the words that best describe the mood of these lines are romantic and yearning.

Explanation:

This monologue from Romeo is part of the Act 2 Scene 2 from " Romeo and Juliet" by William Shakespeare and shows the deep love feelings that Romeo has for his beloved Juliet by comparing her with the moon which is the inspiration for many poets to talk about beauty and he says that his Juliet is much more beautiful than the moon.

How does Shakespeare characterize Macbeth, and what does this show about human nature?
Darya [45]

Answer:

Throughout Macbeth, the nature of evil and human corruption are explored. Humanity is defined by good, but evil stems from the human heart because it is the opposite of good. A human being is not the initiator of supernatural or unnatural forces, but their agents.

) How is the scene different in the movie when the boys see Dallas about running away after the murder.
Irina-Kira [14]

Answer:

There are several minor differences between the movie scene and the scene from book. The most noteworthy difference is Johnny's and Ponyboy's entrance into the party where they go to look for Dallas.

Explanation:

In the book the author describes a scene where Johnny and Ponnyboy knock on the door of Buck Merril's place, and are eventually allowed to see Dallas. Where as in the movie, the older gentleman who answers the door shuts the door in Johnny and Ponyboy's faces, resulting in them needing to sneak into the place.

In stories, plays, or films, it is always satisfying when villains get what they deserve in the end. in an essay, discuss whethe
VLD [36.1K]
Their fate definitely would not have been the same today, as the judicial system nowadays is much more refined. They would have been tried, probably found guilty, and sentenced to prison. Both of them, in the play though, get a fair punishment for what they deserve. Macbeth has to see his wife die, which is an emotional moment for him that he deserves for putting Macduff through the same. Then, he has to discover in the middle of a battle that he thinks he cannot lose that the witches' prophecies might not have told him the whole story. Discovering that Macduff is not of woman born and can definitely kill him is a blow to his psyche that shakes and rattles him to the core, leading to his defeat. Being so mentally shaken and then beheaded is a pretty harsh punishment, even considering the crimes he committed. Lady Macbeth is tormented by her guilt and is driven to madness because of what she has done. This madness and death are also punishments that seem to fit the crimes she committed.
