One pro about reading fiction books is that in some books it can expand you imagination to think things you never thought or if your going through a rough time it can help you be distracted and put you in a good mood. However the cons on fictional books is that nothing in it is informational or in most cases is real, so for some kids this can infect there brains to thinking that they can do or that they believe in certain things that are not in reality. Plastic trash began to accumulate in waterways. This caused waterways to be polluted and non-safe drinking water with diseases. For example, Ohio's river was so polluted with chemicals it caught on fire. causing to catch the attention of government leaders. The federal clean water act added rules in 1972 on industrial plants along waterways. That said waterways continued to trash accumulating a bit in reason of wind sweeping plastic and other non-disposable items.
