I definitely agree with this quote because it holds many truths, many governments like North Korea would like the people to keep quiet and follow along the common thinking, which they provided. It is a brainwashing of the people to a point in which they can't think for themselves as to why they are listening to these influences or why they are doing the things that they do. When a government is like this or reflects something like it, such as what Thomas Jefferson was living in at the time (King George was forcing all sorts of laws so as to control the common people) it is our duty as humans to stand up for ourselves and our rights we all should have as humans. It is necessary for the few who live or have lived in these types of environments and who question their actions or what is expected of them to speak their mind, because otherwise, all would live in a curious state of mind forever without ever allowing themselves to question or search for the answers or make known to the government what they will stand for.

I agree with that because as people of this country we should have a say in what happens with our government. If they become destructive we should have the right to put them in place. If everyone comes together we are stronger than the government.

<span>"It took them a minute to grasp what he was saying, even who he was. " This line gives us a hint that they probably had forgotten about Ravi because they tried so hard to remember who he was.And indeed, the next sentence which says "They had quite forgotten him." confirms that they definitely had completely forgotten about him.

The sentence at the end of the paragraph - "</span><span>Having disappeared from the scene, he had disappeared from their minds." gives us an idea that Ravi was completely wiped out from the children's minds, which is a saddening truth. </span>
