Answer: He returns to the image of himself as a young boy.

Explanation:

"This is what I say to the young Jewish boy wondering what I have done with his years." is the phrase that is showing us that Wiesel is using his image when we was a young boy.

Rhetorical devices are used to inform or impact the ones that are reading or watching, in this case audience that is listening to his Nobel Prize speech.

With this rhetorical device he is awakening the audiences emotion and the people are feeling close to him because they are listening about a part of his life.

Answer:

The rhetorical strategy that Wiesel uses in the conclusion of his speech to appeal to the emotions of the audience and leave the audience with a memorable image is that he returns to the image of himself as a young boy.

Explanation:

In 1986, Elie Wiesel received the Nobel Peace Prize and in his acceptance speech used the image of himself as a young boy to express his gratitude which touched the emotions of the people who were present there. The use of rhetorical devices accessorizes and enhances the level of a writing piece. It is used to create an impact on or to inform or persuade the listener/audience about a certain idea. The same strategy is applied by Wiesel in his speech.
