Even after the Russian withdrawal from the conflict, the Allies won the war thanks to the United States´ joining the Allied camp in 1917. The American involvement tipped the balance in favor of the Allies and in the end, the evaporation of the Eastern Front didn´t have a decisive impact on the final outcome of WWI.
