a. Do you think that your work effort is influenced by whether there is a close link between personal output and personal compensation (reward)? Explain.
My work is influenced by whether there is a close link between personal output and personal compensation. At work, when I know that I am not gettign paid for a particular task, I am more likely to care little about it. The amount of care and work that I put into a task is usually dependent on the reward I will get for it.
b. Suppose the grades in your class were going to be determined by a random drawing at the end of the course. How would this influence your study habits?
If the grades in my class were going to be determined by a random drawing at the end of the course, it is likely I would not study as much. I would study a little, because I care about the knowledge I acquire, but my motivation would be much lower.
c. How would your study habits be influenced if everyone in the class was going to be given an A grade? How about if grades were based entirely on examinations composed of the end of chapter questions in the textbook?
In the same way, if I knew that everyone in the class will receive an A at the end of the year, I would study much less. If the examinations were based entirely on examinations based in the end of the chapter questions in the textbook, then I would most likely only study that section.
d. Do you think the total output of a nation will be influenced by whether or not there is a close link between the productive contribution of individuals and their personal reward? Why or why not?
I think the total output of a nation will be influenced by whether or not there is a close link between the productive contribution of individuals and their personal reward. This is because people do not like working for free. They also do not like it when their effort brings no reward.

When we consider the growth of the earth’s human population from the years 8000 BCE until 2011, the curve of people, relative to the year, takes the form of the letter J.
Population growth in the world, has been happening at a rapid pace, leading us to a situation where the governments are trying to put in laws that could result in a hold to it.
In the current times, the human population is experiencing an exponential growth even though human reproduction is still far below its biotic potential. If we need biotic potential to be achieved, females will have to be pregnant after every nine months and we will simultaneously be needing resources for the same.
