DNA is the biochemical structure for transmitting genetic information regarding the genetic make up of an organism. DNA is a biochemical molecule that is found in all living organisms and is the principal determinants of the characteristics an organism will possess. The chromosomes which enclose the DNA molecule is usually located in the nucleus of cells.
