The way a dictatorship differs from democracy is that a country ran by dictatorship may be elected democratically however. People who live in country ran by dictatorship may have very little in how their country is ran or if their opinion is heard by the government. But in a democracy the people have a say in how their country is ran to an extent and their opinions are heard more then in a dictatorship that is how they differ from each other.
