On the night of April 14, 1912, lookout Frederick Fleet was keeping watch that night. When he caught sight of the iceberg, he immediately ahead of the path. But he was to late to see it because it was very dark and for the Titanic at the time, the actually time was 11:40 PM. Sonar and other things to help with finding obstacles was not yet advanced. The sea's appearance was very dark and was not easy for those to see. Unless you went back in time to put sonar and lights on the ship.

D. The listeners were
Kobotan [32]

Answer:

i. Creatures of the Traveler's imagination.

Explanation:

Walter De La Mare's poem The Listeners is about a traveler knocking on a door of a lonely house in the woods. Though without any response from the 'occupants' of the house, the traveler proceeded to speak as if there is someone listening to him.

The poem shows the traveler asking <em>"Is there anybody there?"</em>, and getting no answer. He went on to say <em>"‘Tell them I came, and no one answered, That I kept my word," </em>and then went on his way. Though there is no direct reference to who the listeners are inside the house, we can assume that they are 'ghosts' or phantoms. They can also be creatures that the traveler imagined to live in the deserted house.

Thus, the<u> correct answer is option i.</u>
