People try finding fossils everyday but since it’s very rare it takes time. You have to dig and dig into layers of rock and dirt to find fossils from millions/billions of years ago. Mudstone, shale, and limestone are layers of rocks that are likely to have fossils. Layers in the rocks create a physical timeline.

This was due to their nomadic lifestyle, which contributed to a relative cultural isolation, and keeping the tradition in their circles. Most of the Romas, until recently had nomadic lifestyle, and even though nowadays most of them are settled, because they tend to live together and form close communities, they still manage to preserve their culture.
