The correct answer is "The Effect of in re Gault".

In re Gault was a US Supreme court decision made in 1967 in which the court determined that the "Due Process Clause" of the 14th amendment, which grants the right to every US citizen to go through a legal Due Process, also applies to juvenile defendants.  

This decision was made after police officers in Gilla County Arizona took Gerald Gault, which at the time was 15 years of age, into custody without notifying his parents.

Well I think you first have to know what Due Process it. & is the legal requirement that states must respect all legal rights that are owned by an individual. Due Process also goes hand in hand with the 5th Amendment. Which is your answer. Hope that makes sense. (:
