Due to Aryan influence, Indian society adopted Hinduism and began communicating and administrating their society using Sanskrit. The basis of Hinduism is centered in ancient sacred texts called the Vedas that it is believed were crafted by the Aryan culture. Archaeologist believe that Vedic Civilization was based in  the northwestern parts of the Indian subcontinent. It spread to the Ganges Plain in around 1200 BCE  to the Ganges Plain, a fertile land irrigated by the Ganges River. This would be expansion into what is now northern and eastern India, as well as the eastern regions of Pakistan, and most of modern day Bangladesh.
