How did religion impact civilization?

Religions have shaped many civilizations for years. A religion can shape the government and how it runs. For example, if the civilization believes in a god, they might have a king. The god “chose” the king to rule everyone. Religion also shapes society. In a caste system, Hinduism, you are born into your cast. Based on your family, wealth, you can be in the higher or lower classes. Religion shapes punishment as well. Some religions believe you should be punished in different ways. Different holidays are made for different religions. For example, Christians celebrate Christmas, or how Jews celebrate Yom Kippur.

Hope this gives enough info.

The Declaration of Independence is important because it contains the goals of our nation, it has the complaints against the British King, it explains why colonists wanted to be free, and/or it helped unify colonists.

Nina [5.8K]

Answer:

C. Beer and Marijuana are complementary goods

Explanation:

Since an increase in the price of beer is reducing the demand for marijuana this means that people were buying both at a time, now that the price of beer is higher they cannot afford both so are buying beer only. Therefore we can say that Beer and Marijuana are complementary goods.

If the increase in beer price led to an increase in Marijuana demand, then that would make them substitute goods since people are substituting one vice for another cheaper one.

How many immigrants arrived in the United States between 1875 and 1910?
Sladkaya [172]
More than 20 million. The true growth of cities in the United States along with nature of its democratic rule led to a massive surplus in immigration during this span of time. Many of these immigrants were European in nature. One such example to demonstrate the massive surplus would be the city of New York, which was predominately foreign based around the year 1900.
