The answer is x=2. Move 3x to the other side and subtract it from 6x. Then you have 6=3x. To get rid of the X divide both sides by 3. Then you get 2=x

Bess [88]

Answer:

x = \frac{2}{3}

x = \frac{2}{7}

A right triangle ABC is shown below:
barxatty [35]
The answer is:  "4" .
______________________________________________________
<u>Note</u>:  The question asks for a whole number.

"The area of the triangle above will equal one half of a rectangle that is 5 units long and <u>  4  </u><u /> units wide.  (Input only whole numbers, such as 8.).
______________________________________________________
<u>Note</u>:  The diagram shows a "right triangle" ; which would be "one-half" of a rectangle, with units of "length" being "5 units" (as mentioned in this very question prompt;  and a width of "4" units (as shown in the diagram;  hence the answer is "4" units).

Furthermore, the formula/equation for the area, "A" , of a triangle is:

A = (1/2) * b * h ;

that is:

Area = (1/2) * (base length) * (perpendicular height).
_________________________________________________
As such, the answer, "4" (units) makes sense.

A rectangular pyramid has a volume of 315 cm^3. The base has a width of 15 cm and a length 7 cm. Find the height h of the pyrami
pochemuha

Answer:

h = 9 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

A rectangular pyramid has a volume of 315 cm^3.

The base has a width of 15 cm and a length 7 cm.

Find the height h of the pyramid .

<u>Vol = 1/3 (base area) h</u>

where base area = 7 x 15 = 105 cm²

vol = 315 cm³

plugin values into the formula

315 = 1/3 (105) h

h =  <u>    315   </u>

      (1/3 * 105)

h = 9 cm
