Write your own story based on the stories from Paris, Umbria, and Tel Aviv. The title is "Life in Coronavirus Quarantine: A Stor

y from Los Angeles." Write 5-6 paragraphs and include details like the writers did. Talk about how things in L.A. have changed since March 13. Although the official quarantine has ended, pandemic life is ongoing until an indeterminate future time. In your narrative, include how your own life has changed, what your daily rituals are now, what you are doing to stay sane, and what you miss most from pre-pandemic life. Include any details that might be interesting to someone who has never been to L.A. just as those writers helped you understand their lives in cities you haven't visited. They all talk about food, too, so don't leave that out!

Ugo [173]

Answer: "He" is the person who succeeded despite the doubters.

The context seems to be a situation that seemed impossible to most people, but one person dared to try, even when someone scoffed and tried to discourage him.

The alliteration is the repetition of s-sounds in "someone scoffed"
