The Guateque Campesino (which may be translated to <u>peasant party</u>) is the natural way in which a group of friends or neighbors gather for a celebration in the Cuban countryside. This is an especial celebration where the peasant tunes sound to the beat of their typical instruments. In this type of meetings a lot of food and coffee is served.
It should be noted that these parties are accompanied by dances and music where a duo of singers follow an improvisation and entertain the people in the party.
