During world war 1 the central powers included
Elodia [21]

Answer: Germany,  Austria-Hungary, Bulgaria, and the Ottoman Empire

Context/explanation:

In the years prior to World War I, there was much military buildup and alliance formation happening among the nations of Europe.  This all served to increase tensions between the nations of Europe.  There was pressure to form alliances with other nations to strengthen a nation's defenses in case there was a war.  The Triple Entente and the Triple Alliance set up in opposition to each other.  The Triple Entente consisted of Britain, France and Russia.  The Triple Alliance consisted of Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Italy.  When the war broke out, Italy shifted its loyalties and sided with the Allies (Britain, France, Russia).  Germany and Austria-Hungary picked up Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire as additional allies during the war, known as the Central Powers.

What were the causes and effects of the beginning of importation of african slaves into the americas?
Eduardwww [97]
The importation of African slaves into the Americas effectsly affected the Americas. In the United States, the acquaintance of slaves drove with a conviction of a "mediocre" race which penetrated southern culture for a long time. As a result of subjugation, numerous southerners couldn't envision a general public where whites and blacks lived as equivalents. It prompted major financial contrasts between the North and South.

How do the Reconstruction Amendments help explain the status of the men in the image?
sweet [91]

Answer:

The 14th Amendment granted the men citizenship, making it possible for them to run for office, while the 15th Amendment allowed African American men to vote for their representatives.

Explanation:

The 13th Amendment ended slavery, but further protection of African Americans was needed after centuries of discrimination. Congress passed the 14th Amendment, which granted African American citizenship. However, many states considered this too radical and opposed. The federal government took action over those states and realized that even with citizenship, African Americans endured discrimination and had little political rights and representation.

Then in 1869, Congress, led by the Republicans, passed the 15th amendment, which made it abundantly clear that all citizens regardless of skin color or ethnicity could vote.
