The answer is B, if this is about WW1. The allied powers was WW2 and involved The U.S.  The Western advance was Britain and France in WW1, I think... Don't quote me on that. And the League of NAtions was the precursor of the UN and was started in between WW1 and WW2 and lasted through WW2. But based on the nations listed, since it is only Russia, Britain and France, The answer would be B. Triple Entente.

The cotton gin was introduced in 1793. What was the effect of this invention in the US?
vivado [14]

Answer:

The export of cotton increased by 50% between 1800 and 1860.

Explanation:

Whitney's cotton gin model was equipped for cleaning 50 pounds of lint every day. The model comprised of a wooden chamber encompassed by columns of slim spikes, which pulled the build up through the bars of a brush like network. The grids were firmly divided, keeping the seeds from passing through. Loose cotton was brushed off, preventing the mechanism from jamming.

which of the following changes led to more americans watching professional sports in the early 1900s
Margarita [4]

Answer:

You don't really have any multiple choice, so here's an explanation. The entire reason for early sports was to teach younger generations how to work in a team, so that when they worked in industrial factories and businesses, they had already learned teamwork. Pro sports began to rise in popularity as rivalries between regional areas in the US rose through the progressive era. These rivalries had existed since the antebellum era in America before the civil war. Plus, there weren't many forms of entertainment in the industrial areas, and sports(watching or playing) was a great way to keep individuals off the streets and in a better area. Thus, pro sports popularity rose in the 1900s.
