A dictionary is a source you can use to find definitions of words.
A thesaurus is a source you can use to find synonyms/antonyms for certain words.
These two combined can help you choose words that are not commonly used and it can improve your vocabulary range. I personally use a thesaurus way more than a dictionary to find synonyms for common words such as “good” or “smart”

Dear Ethan,
First of all, I would like to thank you for inviting me to your wonderful wedding. Congratulations! I hope both of you enjoyed the night as much as I enjoyed the chicken cordon bleu. Man that was delicious! Also, if you wish to extend your fabulous celebration, try considering the resort in Maldives, the one I mentioned before.
Again, thank you and best wishes.
your forever single pal,
Eddie Diaz.

Therefore Brutus and Cacius suspected the reactions of Caesar because of the public power he had held. And because of this, they had a fear that he will not be an emperor.
