<span>The Zeppelins were light and fast and could carry a substantial amount of load in terms of manpower and cargo.  They were also very silent and could fly higher than the present aircrafts at the time.  Unfortunately, they could easily suffer damage from small arms fire and their source of fuel is very volatile.  One mistake and the whole ship would be engulfed in flames.  The Hindenburg was good example of that.</span>
