How did the native Americans feel when they first saw the pilgrims?

They were confused to why they were on they're land but they soon went to help them. 
the native american's were nice enough to share their food with the pilgrims and show them their ways of how they survive. 
so that's how we got along with each other and how we learned to farm and/or harvest food.
