What was true about African Americans in the military?
Helen [10]
African American soldiers in Union were not treated equally with white soldiers. African Americans troops were also assigned to low class roles or jobs such as nurses and cooks. Their roles didn't require the use of any forms of armory and combat duty. Blacks were still slaves to their masters, even in face of war or battle.

In a paragraph, describe three challenges faced by immigrants who came to the United States in the late 1800s.
Alla [95]

Answer:

Between 1870 and 1900, the largest number of immigrants continued to come from northern and western Europe including Great Britain, Ireland,  Scandinavia, and North Africa. These immigrants faced large problems including unemployment, (both because of their religion and because they were from a different place). African immigrants were faced with lynching and abuse because of their race and skin color. Many of these immigrants also faced slavery because they could not pay to feed or support their families due to unemployment.
