The total number of barrels on each trip=96
amount of quarts per barrel=30
The total amount of barrels picked on each trip will be:
96*30=2,880 quarts
The number of days required to pickup the barrels will be:
[total number of barrels]/[rate]
2880/13
=221.54 hours
but
1 day=24 hours
thus;
221.54 hrs=221.54/24 days=9.23 days

PSYCHO15rus [73]

Answer:

1) 32/5

2) 19/8

3) 34/7

4) 25/3

How to do this

You take the denominator (the number on the bottom), multiply it by the whole number (like in 1, 5*6=30) then add the numerator (the top number) (so 30+2) then add on top of the denominator before you changed anything (32/5)
