Christians should respond to global poverty and hunger with compassion.<span> Having true compassion for the needy, as modeled by Jesus (</span>Mark 8:2), means we are aware of the need, we care about the people involved, and we are ready to act on their behalf. Having compassion on a needy brother is proof of the love of God within us (1 John 3:17). We honor God when we are kind to the needy (Proverbs 14:31<span>).</span>

Answer:There have been a variety of Christian views on poverty and wealth. At one end of the spectrum is a view which casts wealth and materialism as an evil to be avoided and even combated. At the other end is a view which casts prosperity and well-being as a blessing from God. The modern neoliberal capitalism that shapes the Western world. American theologian John B. Cobb has argued that the "economism that rules the West and through it much of the East" is directly opposed to traditional Christian doctrine. Cobb invokes the teaching of Jesus that "man cannot serve both God and Mammon (wealth)".

Grant fefused many of Lee's surrender. Grant didnt want to give Lee and terms. Grant said Unconditional surrender (non-negotiable (cause Grant didnt want Lee to ask for money or other things if he surrenders)) or war. This became a very famous speech and gave grant the nickname Ulysses "Unconditional" Grant. Lee eventually agreed to unconditional surrender.
