The Salvadoran War (1980-1992) was a war that took place in El Salvador, a country in Central America. It started because a oligarchy controlled the country. Nearly 100,000 died in the conflict.

The slave trade affected negatively the African economy due to the fact that African people were forced to go to the U.S, that left less strong people to help the economy stay better. The remaining people had to work even harder so that the money could retain its value.
