Answer:

8,000 units

Explanation:

Given that,

Selling price = $25.00 per unit

Total fixed expenses = $65,000 per year

Break even sales in units = 6,500

Target profit = $15,000

Break-even sales in dollar value:

= Break even sales in units × Selling price per unit

= 6,500 × $25.00 per unit

= $162,500

Break-even Point = Fixed Costs ÷ Contribution Margin per Unit

$162,500 = $65,000 ÷ Contribution Margin per Unit

Contribution Margin per Unit = $65,000 ÷ $162,500

                                                = $0.4 per unit

Sales amount:

= (Fixed costs + Target profit) ÷ Contribution margin per unit

= ($65,000 + $15,000) ÷ $0.4 per unit

= $200,000

Therefore,

Sales in units = Sales in amount ÷ Selling price per unit

                      = $200,000 ÷ $25

                      = 8,000 units

Evgen [1.6K]

Answer:

the price per share in the case when A offers B is $200

Explanation:

The computation of the price per share is as follows:

The fair value is

= ($60 + $120) × 50%

= $90

The 50% represent the percentage of equally

Now the price per share is

= $90 + $90 + $20

= $90 + $110

= $200

Hence, the price per share in the case when A offers B is $200

The normal capacity of Noel Company is 4,000 units per month. At this volume, budgeted fixed and variable factory overhead are $
drek231 [11]

Answer:

option (b) $900 U

Explanation:

Data provided in the question:

Normal capacity = 4,000 units per month

Budgeted fixed overhead = $16,000

Budgeted Variable factory overhead = $20,000

Actual overhead incurred = $37,900

Now,

Budgeted variable factory overhead cost per unit = $20,000 ÷ 4,000

= $5

Flexible budget variable factory overhead = 4,200 × $5

= $21,000

Total Variable budgeted factory overhead = $21,000 + $16,000

= $37,000

Variance = Budgeted overhead - Actual overhead

= $37,000 - $37,900

= - $900

or

$900 Unfavourable

Hence, option (b) $900 U

AURORKA [14]

Answer:

Problem analysis

Explanation:

Problem analysis refers to a method of investigating consumer needs under certain complex conditions. It is carried out in order to improve systems, processes and designs.

In this scenario, Sony was offering an extremely disruptive product which wasn't very user friendly but as we all know had a huge potential. Sony's original digital camera was very large, huge compared to normal cameras that used film. It was also very slow and it wasn't very good at taking pictures. Is main advantage was that it used 3¹/₂ floppy disk instead of film.

I'm not sure but I believe it could store around 10-12 pictures and then you had to use another disk. Finally people could start to take a lot of pictures without having to worry about high printing costs. My family had the final commercial product, and if that was the good product, I imagine that those that participated in the product analysis probably had to use and work with something slightly worse.

horsena [70]

It is true that ''In a forecasting model using simple moving average, the shorter the time span used for calculating the moving average, the closer the average follows volatile trends''.

There are three fundamental categories: causal models, time series analysis and projection, and qualitative approaches. The first makes use of qualitative data (such as the judgement of experts) and details about noteworthy occasions of the sort already discussed, and may or may not take historical factors into account.

Although there are many commonly used quantitative budget forecasting tools, in this article we concentrate on the top four techniques: Straight-line, moving average, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, and straight-line.

The Global Forecast System (GFS) of the National Weather Service and the European Center for Medium-Range Weather Forecast (ECMWF) model are the two most well-known NWP models. The American and European models are other names for them.
