Answer:

The Treaty of Tordesillas was the commitment subscribed in the town of Tordesillas, located in the current province of Valladolid, Spain, on June 7, 1494, between the representatives of Isabella and Ferdinand, kings of Castile and Aragon, by one part, and those of King Juan II of Portugal, on the other, by virtue of which a division of the navigation and conquest zones of the Atlantic Ocean and the New World was established by a line located 370 leagues west of the islands of Cape Verde, in order to avoid conflict of interests between the Hispanic Monarchy and the Kingdom of Portugal. In practice this treaty guaranteed the Portuguese kingdom that the Spaniards would not interfere in their route of the Cape of Good Hope, and vice versa the first would not do so in the recently discovered Antilles.

Answer:

The Treaty of Tordesillas benefited especially Spain and Portugal because this treaty allowed these two countries to expand towards Latin America and the Caribbean.

Explanation:

The Treaty of Tordesillas importantly benefited Spain in terms of Economy because the Spanish colonies found silver and gold which gave to these colonies a lot of wealth. However, the Portuguese did not find such wealth.

Thus, there were some cultural implications regarding the future relationships with Latin America and the Caribbean because there were some Spanish-speaking regions on the West, and Brazil was the only country which had adopted Portuguese as its official language.

However, the Treaty was never recognized by other European countries that decided to make their explorations in the western hemisphere.

Which of the following people is an example of a serf
AURORKA [14]

Answer:

Serfs were the laborers of lowest levels in many zones of medieval Europe, however, in some, there were slaves, who were at a lower level. Serfs were not slaves but rather were not allowed to leave the land where they worked.

Their commitment with their medieval master was shared; he had commitments to them, to give a place and ensure them, similarly as they had commitments to him, to give a piece of the product, or later, cash for lease. Serfs couldn't be purchased or sold.

They had a place with the land, not the ruler. In the event that the master sold the land, they ran with it. The new proprietor did not have the alternative of moving them off the land.
