One beat does not necessarily mean it is one foot. I would say false.

Rhythm, because for words, without rhythm, there would be no proper emphasizing on syllables so we would not be able to understand each other. :)

Why is ela an important subject?
kati45 [8]

Answer:

(Answer below) do you have to right an argumentative essay? I’ll give you the first paragraph

Explanation:

I strongly believe to ELA is an important subject because if you think about it, we use it everyday. Theres never a time we wouldn't have to use it. We use ELA when we speak because as we have been taught to speak, we had to learn from reading and writing and listening to others who spoke our same language. ELA helps all of us when it comes to making smart decisions. If we didn’t have anyone to teach us how to speak, write and read, how would we be able to apply for jobs? How would we be able to communicate what we want and what we need?

anastassius [24]

Answer:

Problem/solution.

Explanation:

A problem/solution text structure is when a passage is organized in such a way that the dilemma is provided or expressed, followed by what can be done to remedy that. In other words, it is a text structure where a problem is given, followed by a possible solution for that problem.

Likewise, in the given passage, the problem is expressed first. The problem is that of the alarming disappearing rate of chimpanzees. This is then followed by a probable solution, like saving rainforests and woodlands.

Thus, the text structure is a problem/solution structure.

Which words in the sentence are the appositive phrase? His favorite meal, chicken and dumplings, is bubbling on the stove. A. Hi
natita [175]
B. chicken and dumplings

It's because the 'chicken and dumplings' is renaming the noun 'meal' that is already there. Usually to find an appositive phrase, just look beside the noun and see if the sentence works without the words beside it.
