He was the leader of the USSR during WWII and he ended up killing the most amount of people of any country leader. He like other nations at the time had a secret police and was very paranoid. He fought his way into power through murdering other officials. He ended up being on the winning side of the war but once it was over that is when the USSR and US tensions rose and he attempted to strengthen his country up until his death to which the country lasted a few more decades before collapsing.
