No, texting should not be illegal.

Of course, you can call.

However, you can contact people really quickly by sending a simple text!

If you are in danger, you could text somebody, and if there's an emergency!

I think texting should be allowed because it could save lives.

Glad I could help, and good luck!

Importance of the study of ethics?

The study of ethics should also lead one to develop skills in articulating your own values, to provide others with reasons for your actions and give you the means of questioning the values of others.

The study of ethics helps a person to look at his own life critically and to evaluate his actions/choices/decisions.It assists a person in knowing what he/she really is and what is best for him/her and what he/she has to do in order to attain it. study of moral philosophy can help us to think better about morality.

Which statement describes the central idea of the passage “two ways of looking at a river”
tiny-mole [99]

Answer:

Hi, you didn't put the answer options, but I can help you by showing you that the central idea in “two ways of looking at a river” is the statement that the more we know something, the more we change our opinion about it .

Explanation:

"Two ways of looking at a river" is a work by Mark Twain and describes how he changed his mind about the Mississippi River as he got to know it more and more. In the text Twain shows how he saw the river as something beautiful, poetic , somewhat mystical and transcendent, as something supernatural and ideological. However, after becoming a steamboat pilot and knowing the river in a professional way he started to change his mind, he started to see the river as something normal and natural, very different from the vision I had before.
