Aristotle was born in 384 BCE and died in 322 . He was one of the main Greek philosophers , whose contributions have been used up to the present.

His area of knowledge was unlimited. He was involved in all sciences and arts. He also was responsible for founding <em>formal logic</em>.

Aristotle developed a theory called syllogism and a formal system for reasoning.He believed that a conclusion is true only if the premises of a given statement are true.
